Naan Pizza

Naan Pizza

One of my favorite things is making homemade pizza out of things that aren’t traditionally pizza—french bread, pita, hamburger buns, tortillas, you get the picture. We’ve done all of these at some point with some of them more popular than others. This week we tried something new: Naan!

This pizza follows the same premise as the others. The Naan makes a more dense crust that pita or a tortilla, so if you’re looking for a thin crust the Naan may not be for you. It has good flavor though.

It’s pretty simple, all you have to do is lightly oil both sides of the Naan and prebake for about 3 minutes at 400F.

After that, you just add the toppings you like! I went with some Alfredo sauce and then a thin layer of cheese with some hamburger and mushrooms. And a lot more cheese on top. But you should do whatever you like best on your pizza.

Bake your pizza for 12minutes, or until the cheese is melted.

It’s that easy! Enjoy!
