Creamy Banana Cheesecake Pie

On a side note, this Creamy Banana Cheesecake Pie has a definite lightness to it. It’s probably a dessert better suited to spring or summer, but I like little reminders of the warmer seasons in the midst of the cold winter. Mom's Caramel Corn

While Mom was making her final batch for the season and I was documenting it I told her she was the best at caramel corn. She humbly responded that it took a lot of trial and error. I’m glad she stuck with it, and I’m glad she’s willing to pass on her Mom Tips to me.

A Christmas Brunch

This tradition helps us to remember our heritage and also our extended family members and loved ones. Merry Christmas! I hope that you find joy and blessings as you celebrate the weekend—and into the New Year!

May the Jello be with You

Oh Snap! Gingersnaps

The couple weeks that stretch between Thanksgiving and Christmas are a time for preparing. We prepare our hearts for the celebration of Christmas and we prepare our kitchens and tables too. This usually means a lot of time listening to carols and baking cookies. Lots of cookies. Last year I outdid myself in the cookie department. I tried new recipes while still making the must-haves.
